London, UK, Tuesday 12 June, 2007 – Newmark Security PLC, a leader in the supply of high-value integrated security solutions is pleased to announce the strategic merger of two of its wholly owned subsidiaries Grosvenor Technology and Custom Micro Products. The two companies will merge under the name of Grosvenor Technology and continue to operate from their facilities in Bishop's Stortford in Hertfordshire and Poole in Dorset.

The remit of the newly combined business is to provide innovative products and services targeted directly to the needs of key channels within the access control and data-collection industries and in making the announcement, Maurice Dwek, Chairman of Newmark Security PLC, said: “The merger brings together two companies whose reputations have been built on innovation, customer service and quality of execution.” Derek Blethyn, Managing Director of the Electronic Division, continued: “Combining the two businesses under one brand enables us to better position the company to meet the future needs of our customers. The development proposition is an easier migration to newer and more powerful technologies and the opportunity for wider and greatly enhanced product offerings. The merger also offers best use of company synergies and consistency of application with more efficient systems and procedures throughout.
