Hospital System Upgrade
A prestigious hospital required an urgent upgrade to their legacy Janus access control system. While still functioning, the underlying operating system had reached end of life and ageing processors were limiting performance. Heritage Campus Security Overhaul
The University of London faced the challenge of consolidating a fragmented mix of access control systems across its estate, with staff carrying multiple passes for different buildings and no centralised management. An additional layer of complexity came from the need to satisfy English Heritage requirements across its Grade listed buildings. Hall & Kay were appointed based on their proven track record in large, multi-stakeholder educational environments. Working alongside Grosvenor Technology, they conducted full surveys of all installed equipment before delivering a modern, unified solution with EV2 and EV3 credential capability and encrypted reader-to-controller signals – enhancing security while preserving the integrity of the historic estate.
